So my exams ended on Wednesday. It ended before lunch but a few of us had to stay back to do this English IELTS test for UWA. It was so dreadful we just wanted to go off so badly. We finished at about 4pm and Farhah followed me home cos Nyan was gonna come pick us to go out for Saba's early birthday dinner since we(Farhah & I) won't be here for her birthday.

We wanted to have dinner at this very famous Italian restaurant called Ciao Italia. We heard that people always have to line up outside to wait. It opens at 5pm only and sure enough when we arrived at about 7pm +, it was all full! People were queuing outside so we had to go somewhere else. After some endless driving, we ended up at Saigon in Northbridge. The food was pretty good but the service was quite bad. One of their waitors was so rude.

That night was really fun, it was filled with lots of laughter and retardedness. Pictures from Weds:

So what have I been doing?

Sab & I went shopping in the city on Thursday. Didn't shop much. Nyan joined us towards the end. On Friday, I went for lunch at Nandos with Yves. On the way to pick him up, the road was filled with rain water! So scary! It's been raining these few days. After lunch, we went to the UWA Architecture campus to view the art exhibition. Archi really seems like an art course. I'm so sure I won't survive cos I can't draw and think creatively.

Today, I picked Sab at around 10.45am and we went to Garden City. Bought a few things. hehe. Shockingly, we were done by 12.45pm! We just walked around and had a banana split at Gelare. I left after that and Sab went with her mum and sis.

It was supposed to be raining cats and dogs today but it didn't so I was really happy. I'm afraid to drive under rainy conditions.

Tomorrow, I'm going for early dinner with Jasper, and it's home on Monday. Nyan's bringing me to the airport at 7am and Sab's gonna follow to keep me company since after Nyan drops me off, he has to go bring his sisters to school. So touched hahaha. My mum already left on Tuesday.

During the ceremony, I received 2 awards; one Academic Award for Accounting, and the other, a Dux Award for Business. Remember the speech I had to write? Yeah, I gave a speech today because I was the Valedictorian for this graduation batch. I was soo nervous while giving the speech. I felt really hot afterwards.

I was really happy, and I didn't expect the Dux award. Afterwards, two guests from UWA came to talk to me and gave me their business cards. Said if I needed any help, I could email them.

The music that the DJ played wasn't very nice too. They had some good songs la but the rest were ..... Just before 12am the DJ played the last song for the night. We left soon after that. But before that we had to go back to the room first cos Sab & Farhah wanted to change. Nyan was gonna send Nooch & I back, and drop Farhah at Currie Hall.

Then it happened.. while going down the stairs, I fell down. I was telling myself to be careful and not to fall but, aih. I really don't know how I did, but I did. I didn't miss a step, so I think I must have lost my balance somehow. I only fell down like 3 steps but the aftermath was really bad. :( I've got quite a deep cut on my right knee and it bled. It's quite gross. But that's not it. My left leg hurt like F and now there are bruises on it. When I got home I discovered that my right foot was swollen and it hurt so bad. I couldn't walk properly. I still can't walk properly. I'm really so upset that I fell, it just made the night worse. Only Sab, Nyan & Farhah know what I'm talking abt.

I hope my legs get better by Monday or else it'd be hard in school. I can't walk up and down stairs properly, I have to go one step at a time. Luckily no one saw me fall because there was a whole group of HK/China guys near the top of the stairs(I fell somewhere in the middle). Only the people who were with me saw.

I'm really moodless right now, have been since I woke up. I've been bumming since I woke up at 10am and it's 3.22pm now. I have to prepare for my Econs essay on Tuesday but I don't have the mood for it at all. I also have my Maths exercises to do, but when? Tomorrow Kota's gonna come to my house cos we have our English Presentation due on Tuesday as well. Then, I also have that speech to prepare for. And shoot, I didn't realise that my exam is in 13 days, starting on June 20th!!!

I wanted to go window shopping today in the city but my girlfriends weren't free - Saba was busy, Farhah's in Melbourne and Serene had to work. So I just called Nooch out for lunch. After that we just went to the arcade for a bit. Then I sent us homee. Boring.

School starts on Tuesday.. Don't know if I should be happy or bummed. haha.

When I came back on Wednesday night, Nyan asked me to check my car, to start it. It couldn't! I was so freaked out! We tried to jumpstart the car(luckily my dad bought me the jumpstarting cable!) but it couldn't work. Poor Jazzy :( But luckily Nyan was free the next morning and knew how to remove the battery cos the next day we brought the battery to the car workshop place. It's all good now hehe.

My days here are super limited. I'm leaving in 8 days, on the 16th! Next term is gonna be my last term doing Foundation, then uni in July!

I got my wisdom tooth pulled out today. The injection part hurt but the pulling part didn't.. it just felt uncomfy. And surprise, surprise, I've got 2 very tiny wisdom teeth growing at my bottom jaw! It's too tiny to pull out so it'd have to be removed surgically. Scary! But the dentist said it can wait till it grows out. Saba got all 4 of her wisdom teeth pulled out on Saturday. All 4 at once! :S

Bunny mam mam!

So, I really, really enjoyed my holiday back home. I so didn't want to leave. Thanks to my friends who made my holiday fun. Getting to know Rita better was awesome. Some friendships have drifted apart, but I guess it happens. That's what my dad told me.

Anyway, I left on Friday. I cried twice. There I go again. I went into the immigration crying(of course trying to stop) and the officer asked me "Kenapa?" but I couldn't talk so I just shook my head. The flight was really bad. Firstly, it was such a full flight! Never seen Perth flights full before. Secondly, it was hot in the aircraft. Thirdly, I couldn't watch any movies because the old Aussie man infront of me was sleeping and he reclined his seat a lot. If I were to watch, the monitor would be in my face.

The only thing that was good was that the customs didn't check my luggages! Usually they're very fussy and stuff, checking everything. I came out earlier than expected. Nyan wasn't there yet so I waited for a while. Then he came and we went for dinner at Nandos. Yummy, but I didn't really have an appetite. Was still sad to leave. But it's okay, I'm gonna be back in April! I drove home too, but it was only for a short while.

The next day, Saturday, was Australia Day. It was also Rita's birthday. At night, I was supposed to join Nyan & his friends to watch fireworks but I felt so dull and had no mood to go out at all. Homesick. So I stayed home and webcammed with Rita during her party, webcammed with my mum and watched Gossip Girl. I can finally watch it. I'm up to Episode 11 now. E-speed was too slow, it took 16 hours to finish streaming an episode. Well, mine did. Here, I can stream 5 episodes in a day!

On Sunday, I went out with Nyan. I felt so tired, because of the heat and we went for quite a long journey to Joondalup to meet his friend. And I drove to the city and back home! Was quite scared la hahaha. Foreign place, and it's someone else's car. I can drive in Perth for 3 months only then I'd have to get the WA License.

Today(Monday - I started this post on Sunday and I'm posting and blogging on Monday only), I went for lunch with Nooch. He came over to my place first then we went to the city by train. It was SO hot man. While walking to the train station, a part of my short heel came off man! Omg.. haha It was possible to walk, it just made a sound cos there's a screw there. I have the extra heel thing, but I can't fix it because I'd have to remove that screw first and I don't have a screwdriver. I'll just wait for my mum to come next month! :D

And man, I start skool tomorrow. I'm so not looking forward to it! I'm lacking girlfriends. hahahaha Since most of my girlfriends finished already. I only have uhm, Farhah(who will not be coming tomorrow cos she has flight problems haha) and June! And David(hahaha Tee!) won't be coming too. Tim as well. So it's gonna be Nooch & I(there are others but I'm not close to them) and new people!

Oh well. I'm gonna end here. Toodles~

I was actually afraid that if I failed my driving exam, I wouldn't have the mood to go to Jo's bbq at her house the same day as my exam. Fortunately, it turned out well. But I was so tired by then though, because in the morning I had my last driving lesson.

2007 has been one heck of a year; I hope 2008 will be a good year for all of us and that for trials & tribulations that we encounter, we will be able to get through them well and good!

The day before Sandra left to KL, there was a gathering at Rita's house for her. It was supposed to be at Sandra's but the blur girl forgot that she didn't have a mail to clean up after. haha. Some of us brought a dish each for dinner. So we ate, talked and played 007. Fun fun fun!

I was getting used to the 4 of us hanging out quite a lot - Drew's bday, basketball at Sandra's and this gathering. But she had to leavee.

Soo.. Christmas Eve this year.. was just Nyse & I. It was a pretty lonely one but Nyse didn't want to think of it that way since it's her last X'mas eve in Brunei. And guess what? She celebrated it with ME! :D We attempted to play Gunbound but it was too damn laggy.

I can now say that GB wastes a lot of our time - trying to go into the server, trying to go into rooms, sometimes you can't leave when you want to, sometimes it just cuts you off. Urgh.

Driving. My parking's not improving much. It's so frustrating.. I always feel so crappy after my lesson ends. I've had 4 lessons so far and have had 6 hours of driving (1 hr, 2 hrs, 1 hr, 2hrs). And no where near to passing, in my opinion. I stalled so many times today! -.-

It's also weird that my driving lessons seem to "haunt" me. Everytime before I wanna go to bed, all these driving thoughts come to mind. And I keep on thinking and thinking and I can't sleep! Happens all the time, since I started my driving lessons.

My theory lessons ended today. Gonna have the Mock Exam tomorrow at 10am, and going to Gadong at night! My theory exam is on Monday, Dec 31. I really hope I don't fail. I hope I get the first 15 questions right; the road signs. Get 1 wrong and you fail.

I find it SO weird that, the question gives you, say, a No Waiting sign, but the options in the answers do NOT have "Dilarang menunggu". Instead, the answer is "Dilarang meletak kereta". ? ? ? ? What is up with that? For the No Stopping sign, the answer ended up being "Dilarang menunggu". I'm very afraid of that. Or worse, what if they give u for example, the No Waiting sign but two of the options in the answers are "Dilarang berhenti" and "Dilarang meletak kereta". NOW, which one do you choose?!

She was on transit from HK, and her flight to Spore was around 6pm. haha If I didn't see her this time round, I dno when the next time would be.

Wowow, was it one crazy night. It was my first alcohol party since whenever my friends had parties I was always in Perth! It was an experience I think, watching people go looney. But it was freaky at the same time.

We checked in at the hotel in the afternoon around 2pm or so. Then, Rit, Nyse & I went looking for Drew's present. We played the shooting game in the arcade, played pool(haven't played in AGES), walked around, etc.

I started driving lessons on Monday. Had my third lesson today. My parking is really bad, I felt like crap yesterday. My teacher was a bit frustrated/angry with me today. It's slightly better today but I still don't understand it very well. Esp with turning the steering wheel left n right. I also had my first lesson of the Highway Code Theory today. It was so boring.

Anyway, I'm gonna stop here. Ta~

He was carrying my handbag because he bought a few packets of Roc Candy for his friends back in Spore, and they were in my bag. It was heavy so he carried it around. HAHAHA He looked so funny but he wasn't embarrassed! He didn't show it, anyway.

We went to Woolworths and on the way out the security guard checked our bags. First Nooch, then Kenneth, and when it came to David's turn...... omg it was such a funny sight!!! Ken and I walked away and started laughing like crazyy.

Vikki came and we went to Utopia in Northbridge to chill. That place is so Hong Kong-y. A lot of Chinese go there to karaoke. And that place plays a lot of Chinese music loudly.. I can't stand it sometimes. haha.

Yesterday was good. Did quite a bit of shopping, mostly from JeansWest. 40% off everything! Yesterday was the last day. My mum and I actually went to Garden City too early.. cos we were bored and tired! We had about 2 hrs before Nyan & Reb came so we just sat around.. hahaha.

I went home to get Kenneth's external hard drive to return it to him in the city. Then he called me to ask if I wanted to join the whole Spore group for one last dinner. I decided to go, and Nyan brought me home again. I had my bath while he went online with my lappy and talked to my mum a bit. hahahaha. We left my house at around 5.45pm.. was to meet Kenneth at 6pm.

They wanted to have dinner at Hawker's Cuisine, but the reservations were full. So we had dinner at Uncle Billy's instead. Sam, Lesi, Vikki, Nathalia, Kenneth and I waited for the rest to come. Wei Le came, then Fang Ren. After that, Gaby, Audrey, Nooch, David and Amanda came. That was the whole group. Not all the Singaporeans came though.

I can't believe it.. time is flying by so fast. It's December, Term 2 has ended, I'm done with exams, I'm free. Oh yea, I'm going back on Monday, 10th Dec now, instead of 11th Dec. It's because, RBA changed their flight thing -if I was still going back on the 11th, we'd have to fly to Darwin first, then from there, fly to Brunei. Wth? haha.

It's really weird that I'm not like super excited to go home. I mean, I am excited to see everyone again, but I'm just not psyched to go home. I might have grown to like Perth a lot.

Anyway, my mum and I are going to Garden City on Thursday! Shopping! Rebecca & Nyan are gonna meet up with us at night for dinner there. Looking forward to it.

I went out to Coles with my mum just now(Wednesday). The weather was gloomy. When we were walking home, it started raining quite heavily. It's still raining now. hmm A rainy, summer day.

Last week before my exams started, there was this drama between my neighbours. Police came, and took a statement from my mum cos she saw what happened. My neighbours are so ...... . Especially J, who is staying beside me (who's gay, and I'm not surprised he is). I might have mentioned before that last time I'd always heard him quarreling with his friend(s). Turns out it's with this girl called Barbie. I heard bangings on the door and stuff, and I told my mum about it and she just peeked outside and saw him dragging her from his house to A's house (I stay in between them). The girl was lying on the floor and he was dragging her by her hands. =S

Barbie called the police and yeah, the next day he put her stuff outside his door. I reckon they're not very right in their heads. They drink a lot. And apparently.. drugs are involved. There's this feud that's been going on for some time already between J and A, with Brandon, my other neighbour. It's complicated really. It's always the 2 of them against Brandon and they're very pissed at him for some reasons. Brandon's a lawyer and he's really nice. He always wants to make sure that my mum and I are okay, because he doesn't want us to feel threatened by the 2, or something like that. Like I said it's complicated. It's just crazy. J is freaky and I always don't wanna bump into him. Hopefully he'll move out by the time I get back in Jan.

Anyway, I'm gonna head to bed. Night!

After break, Tim asked us to go watch his Maths 2 presentation.. Only like 5 people were present in his class! His maths teacher is SO blur, he didn't even notice Kenneth & I! We're not his students hahaha. You know, that Maths teacher, he gave his students 21/20 and 22/20 for their maths presentation?! Omgad, how is that possible? HAHA It's crazy! Early birds - the first people to present got 22! And you know, for group presentations consisting of like 2 or 3 people, not everyone has to speak! 1 person can do all the talking.. and the other member(s) will get the marks too. David was the 'clicker', and he also got full marks HAHAH. Ken & I left the class after the presentation was over, and Tim said that his teacher said something along the lines of "hmm.. the class seems smaller now.." or "hmm.. some people seem to have left the class" (can't rem which one) and went on to write on the board.

After skool, I asked Reb to come over for lunch. After that, we just bummed for a bit then we went to the city. Wanted to spend some time with her before exams start..

Oh yeah, about 2 weeks ago it was freaking hot! It was 39 degrees! We're towards the end of Spring which can only mean one thing. Summer is coming. I know I'm so going to hate it. But luckily, I've got an air conditioner at home. Or else. omg haha. My friends who stay in the Residential Colleges.. they couldn't sleep properly cos it was too hot. It hasn't been that hot since, it was pretty cool for the past two days. Today, it's hot again. Really dislike the warm wind.
